Inside Tips for Participation in Our Awards Competition

• Find out all the details of our awards program.
• Meet submission deadlines.
• Clearly identify the name of the NNO area you are entering. If it's a multi-area program (e.g. city/county, metro), give the program an appropriate title reflecting the geographic area involved (e.g. "Richmond Metro Area", "Greater Kansas City").
• Document your results in your post report (e.g. number of participants, block parties, new groups contacted or formed, etc.).
• Keep in touch with NNO office during the period leading up to the event.
• Try to get your electric utility registered separately with NATW as an official electric utility sponsor.
• Plan out your post-report ahead of time. Envision what you want it to look like and what items that you'll need to collect.
• Participate in "Project 365". Designate a target area, include information in your post-project report.
